Free dlc maps not loading in.

everytime i try to load up any of the free dlc it open up the steam browser and tells me to download it. everytime i try it launches the game back open or tells me the game is already open like i already have it. Im thinking the problem is im playing on f2p weekend but that wouldnt make sense, since it is a free dlc. any help?

In your steam library go to Ark and then go to the manage my dlc page. Does that say the dlc you are trying to play on is installed?

To install the free DLC maps:

• Right click ark in your library, and select properties.
  
• Navigate to the DLC tab.
  
• Select the DLC map you want to play.

If the DLC tab isnt there, use the following links to install them:

When you have ark selected in the library it should have a few boxes on the right side, for me its Achievements, the DLC, and then the workshop. The dlc box should have two buttons a view dlc in store and a manage my dlc

its not showing up on my screen, like i dont have the dlc for some reason, even though i should because i downloaded the game.

You might need to contact steam support about it

The f2p only allows you to play the island map, you cant download any free dlc.

He is playing the free weekend thats what he said, so, he cant download any dlc.

Does the same apply to if you borrow the game from a friend? I did, and whenever i try to install, it launches the game, i click on the map and all it does it send me to the maps store page. Then, the game just stops responding entirely

Family share? If thats the case then i think your friend need to add them to their acc for you to be able to add them too.

They do, they have all DLC maps besides scorched earth
