Polymer on Genesis?

ive found basicly all the resources except beaver dams (but you can get cementing paste from insects with a beelzebufo in the bog biome) and organic polymer.

where do you guys get your polymer? i feel a little bit uneasy in farming obsidian and paste to produce it, so i prefer organic. did you find any.

i know there are kairuku and karkinos, but i dont know where (we have immersive taming on our server and it only shows the dinos that are on the map).
also: did you guys find any rock drakes? cause you need rock drake eggs to tame basilisks.

Perhaps HLNA can sell it to you ? ask her :) I saw fuel, meat, rocks, so perhaps she sells Polymer too ?

She can, but its very expensive, selling only 5 organic polymer for 350 points. buying obsidian and cementing paste comes out at roughly the same price.

it would cost me more then half of the points i earned till lvl 84 (x1 rates and i even did some missions) just to make a chainsaw^^

you mean the kind of dolphin thats on valguero? because if its just ichtyosaur, they dont give poly, so why should they give poly when they die cause of missing water?

In ocean there are Hesperornis (this little Duck like dinos.) they give organic polymere too. Best is to tame on of the Pelagornis (the big birds). You cant ride them but you can set them to follow and then whistle "attack this creature" so he will kill the little bird and harvest it automatic to get organic polymere. They get more Organic then all other creature in oceanic biom.

Is this your current method? I can't seem to get my pelagornis to attack the hesperornis. When i whistle attack this target it just stops and then continues following me and when i put it in attack my target stance and get hit by the hesperornis it just kinda moves towards it and then stops.

well. thats the way i did it. now i changed to stupid swim to them and kill them, then harvest with the club.

So a month since this post, what are people doing for Polymer?

I've always farmed Hesperornis, if I'm lucky I'll find 1 crab in each lunar cave so hardly worth the trip but I am starting to need a lot of poly and it seems that farming Chitin for CP and Obsidian would be the best and fastest way to make a large amount of it. Thoughts?
