Megachelon Breeding

I have been trying to breed the giant turtles and when i set the female to mating enabled it says she needs to be in deeper water, I have taken them as deep as the ocean biome goes and still it says i need to be in deeper water. anyone have any ideas? my guess is megachelon are broken. either that or i'm missing something.

yea has to be pretty deep from my understanding , heard you can do it on rag by mushroom cave not 100% on that just started taming some myself

I got it all figured out. Thought i was at deepest part of ocean but wasn't. You have to breed them and hatch the eggs way deep. so so so dangerous down there which makes it a pain in the butt to do.

you can't breed them on land. you need to be in deep ocean to breed them and hatch them so no air conditioners.

I haven't tried it there but it should work, just go to deepest part of the ocean and try it.

The Island oceans aren't deep enough to hatch the eggs or even breed the turtle if i recall.

Ragnarok, Center have deep enough parts and obviouslt Genesis

in the last TLC Patch Ark did they raised the level of depth needed for breeding so they could be bred on other maps.

I just spent 2 hours fencing off a giant, deep water bay on the island... Welp, i guess it'll just be their hangout...
