Give it a day. Even the Devs haven't posted Genesis patch notes lol
Summary: Genesis has a big focus on PVE. Normally, once you get a tame you can start mowing down other wild Dino's, regardless of their level. X-Dinos change that, by being stronger in the wild. No more taking on a 150 Rex with a 85 Raptor...
Wild X-Dinos: Take reduced damage, hit harder, do increased damage to tames, and have greater health regeneration. An X-Allo can passively out heal the DPS from a primitive crossbow. A Tamed 185 Raptor can lose a battle to a Wild 85 X-Raptor.
Tamed X-Dinos: Offer no "Wild" bonuses. They go back to their normal variant stats. However, they do come in cool colors/patterns, and do offer a new challenge to taming. The "Bola and Tranq" method doesn't always work, and traps should be of at least stone quality. Watching a 20 X-Paracer rip down your wooden gate in seconds and kill all your frogs is both amazing and despairing at the same time. ;) Hope this helps.
