The Megachelon (Giant Tortoise) is a little... Bugged
Underwater Oxygen not triggering, Inability to build on any portion of it's back once Tamed, Not eating once knocked out, Right-Click Beam Attack hitbox much smaller then it visually appears to be... The list goes on.

Also... Compared to the teased Images, I definetely feel we got the short end of the stick here

Yeah I reconize a bit Island, I'm sure it looks better in Genesis. But as every DLC, there is a big difference between Epic graph cinematics trailer vs gameplay

im pretty sure for all games, devs need testers so they release these to the public after seeing if most of it works, and wait for others to find more bugs. Congrats you found lots of breaking elements on the giant turtle.

Did you put the platform saddle on it? I've been using it since genesis released and I can build on it fine in the genesis map. The Gamepedia says it doesn't need a platform saddle but it has one and I assume its need that.

Tried both with and without the Platform Saddle. I was able to build on a few occasions, But most of the time it just flat out didn't let me. Regardless of where i attempted to place a building, It'd just display as red

They are most common in the Ocean Biome in Genesis. Infact i'd go as far as to say it's the most common Water creature. Damned things are everywhere in that biome.

Started there myself, Just hold out a torch when insect swarms start attacking you, They'll quickly disperse

Thank you! Had no idea that would work. Been jumping into water to get rid of them. :)
