Still can't reconnect to non-dedicated server after game crash.
It's 2020 and I've seen several posts with this issues as far back as 2015 and the only known solution is to completely quit the game and restart. The problem is everyone on the server has to do this. The game is crashing randomly and it's now up to every 10 min of playtime it crashes. I don't have any problems on single player just on a non dedicated server with friends.

For reference my friends are also my roommates but there's no issues with the internet. Crashing also (I think) happens when I die. Honestly, restarting every ten minutes is ridiculous and I'm surprised there's not a better fix for this.

with the actual Crashlog there would be at least a chance of help.

But with the info above i would advice to burn some sage.

Either has enough specs to run a dedicated server... why not do that?

Can't run a dedicated server and play the game at the same time. At least you cant run dedicated through the ARK menu, unless there's another way to do it

LowLevelFatalError [File:F:\build\Trunk\Engine\Source\Runtime\Windows\D3D11RH\Private\D3D11Util.cpp] [Line: 201]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

Thats how i do it, even if i'm playing by myself. I have a ryzen 9 and an rtx 2070 on 16 gb of ram, and haven't seen my fps drop hard from connecting to myself.

Only possible fix ive seen fir this error is to disable your onboard graphics.

But its an issue in UE4 in general... not just Ark.

Ark Server Manager - Best Way to not just run a dedicated server, but to run a modded SP game as well.

You mean disable the CPU integrated graphics?

This will let you not only host a server, but is how I now run my modded SP games
