"no sessions found" in cluster
I am currently trying to transfer my character from one map to another. All my other friends have been able travel to another cluster without any issues. However when i go to see sessions on cluster it says no sessions found. I know its there, because i can join it as a new character. The issue only arises when searching for session on cluster when im in game to transfer my current character.

I am hosting both servers on my pc using ASM.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Yes it is a very common problem on these forums.
If you are hosting the servers on your local LAN and other remote users are transferring between servers normally... And you can play on each server fine but have issues transferring only...

Then that is because your router does not support NAT loopback.
If the ASM cluster is on a different computer, a quick fix is to use a VPN on the machine that you are playing the game from. This will force you to connect from outside the LAN and therefore NAT loopback won't be involved.

Start by researching your router and go to their user forums for more assistance on configuring NAT loopback if you get stuck.

Word of warning... if you got your router from your ISP it is probably a piece of ♥♥♥♥ barely capable for your grandmother/parents to check their email/facebook. In many of these devices advanced features are either locked down or absent altogether.

Yes i do have a piece of poop ISP router which does not support NAT Loopback. This is a pain in the butt. Thank you so much for answering my question :) Ill probably just be cheating a new character in, seems to be the easiest solution for now.

Alternatively what you can do is locate the character .bak file from the server you want to duplicate across to the other servers.

Take backups before doing anything of course.

On the destination servers, whilst shutdown, delete both your local primary profile file as well as the backup. Then copy the profile bak file from the source server to the destination servers. Take the bak files only.

When you boot you should have your character.
You may need to be reinvited to the tribes though.

You will also appear as a duplicate version of yourself. Simply boot the old you from your tribes and eat the flesh of your old body ;-)

Awesome! yea i was going to ask if there was a manual way to upload the file myself because it does give me the option to download profile when i go to load in a new character. figured that could be a solution, but i did not find any information on it online, so i wasn't sure.

I am a cluster admin and had a user who wanted to migrate from another cluster but couldnt using the transfer.

So I played around and figured out how the profile files work.

Im having issues locating the location of the character file. would it be under the server info or the ark game file itself?

This is as it is on my server. All my servers are on D:\Ark in their own folders.

Directory: D:\Ark\Server 3 - Test\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArks

Primary profile files are named steam64ID.arkprofile
Backup profile files are named steam64ID.profilebak
