Gacha slower when offline

So I noticed that my gacha produces much less crystal when Im not in render range or when Im offline.
I have been reading about gachas for days now on google and no one mentiones that. Any idea what to do to counteract that or is it normal?

Its normal, everything goes into stasis when no one is around. There are mods that prevent an area going into stasis or if vanilla ark has the s+ hitching post that also keeps dinos out of stasis, I think those are the only ways around it.

S+ doesn't prevent this not at least when you are offline. I have always had my snow owls hitched above my gacha's and when I go offline my gachas will be full of their food inventory and pellets and not a single crystal collected. Gachas were designed that way to prevent them from being OP. On my last play through I could get more metal and element faster than farming with vanilla rates using only Gachas while online so to have them work offline would be insane.

Well so far i tested outside of render range and hitching post is working, they are producing, i will try tonight how it works when im offline, but yesterday it did produce 5 crystals during the night so we will see.

Well it did produce element dust, around 17k while offline(i have only one snow owl) but i play on modded PVE so maybe that is why.

Aw that is so unfair I wonder whats up with my base then. Might have to convert it or just demo it to get the proper functionality from it. Thanks for the update.

Owl's won't affect resource crystals... Only the quality of the item crystals.

Only real way I guess is AFK in a TEK bed with some anti logout macro running.

Or until then strip naked. Empty your inventory and lay on a bed or chair to afk. Slows water and food usage. Youll die eventually but it's an ok starter

Chair\Benches can indeed keep you alive for an entire working day, never tried a bed tbh ill have to try compare those some day.

What do you mean? If the gacha has owl pelet it gives 180 dust per crystal, if not then 90-110 range

Not an expert in any way, but all i did was tie gacha and one owl to the same hitching post, emptied +s collector and cracker and shut down the game. This morning it had 17k element dust, and some equipment
