Did you put her on follow mode? Is she carrying too much weight?
I play single player and it works very well for the body and Dino tracking
Is there like a map mod that tells me where I am or where my animals are on the map?
There are multiple mods that can do this. Dinotracker, petfinder etc.
1. This isnt pixark and it was made by another company.
2. You do have an icon for your player on the map but it will not display dinos on the map for you. Again use mods I mentioned with show coordinates to them, light beacons when close to them, arrows in the air to them etc(not all of what mentioned is exclusive to 1 mod).
Good luck to you.
Additionally there is of course the actual in game version at higher levels(transponders) but they're very limited and require you crafting transponders for each dino to place in their inventory.
Except that for starting out players, its not as feesible to use that aspect of awesome teleports(I dont disagree with you though). Pet finder for example doesnt require anything but 1 stone to craft to then give you directional arrows to locate em. And dino tracker is also not very complicated to make either and has the additional benefit of being a portable wild dino by level tracker too(though more limited in single player for that unless stasis is turned off)
