Weird Robot

So I logged in today to check on my dinos, and I saw this small little robot flying around inside my base. It wasnt attacking or anything, but still, i shot it with my longneck tranq to see what would happen. I wish i had gotten a screenshot but i didnt. It was like a tek looking drone, with abgiant green eye, and after I shot it it started watching me with this red forcefeild around it
I kept trying, to see if i could knock it out, but it eventually dissapeared on me. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so what is it? Was it some sort of event i just ruined for myself?

No, you are fine.
It is a Scout, shoot it with a shotgun if you have one, just blow it up. It will drop a blueprint so you can build one.
Have fun, same thing with the Enforcers, be careful however, the Enforcers are not nice like the scouts.

Be careful with the scouts, if one is eyeing on you for too long, you'll get "marked" which will make all the nearby Enforcers become aggressive towards you. The mark lasts for a very long time too (but won't persist through death).
