Is weather disabled on Extinction?
I haven't seen it rain but 1 time and that was in the desert biome. So far the City, Wasteland, Sulfur Fields, Snow Biome seem weatherless.

I've seen snow in the snow dome, but they intentionally disabled meteors because they are doing damage where they should not be (city and both domes) and i haven't seen an eclipse tho I think they darken the map and make the wasteland's temperature drop.

For what it's worth, I've seen it rain in the desert dome too (once) but my tribemate was in the city at the same time and it didn't rain there. But he was able to fill up his waterskin as if it was raining. Not sure if it was supposed to be raining the whole map or he wasn't supposed to be able to fill up his waterskin.

yes night and weather only occurs inside biomes. As for the why it's lore related so you're free to spoil yourself on the wiki if you want :p

Oddly enough, I've never seen rain in the city, but when I was setting up a greenhouse, I laid down the foundation, walls, and crop plots before putting the roof on--and by the time I got the roof pieces made, my crop plots said they all had 50-60 water. It's like it IS raining in the city, but the animation isn't playing.

indeed that would explain why one time i was dying out of thirst and suddenly....i was full water for no reason for 5mn without it depleting (inside the city as well, when i entered it coming back from wastedlands).

but i guess it's unintended and they will correct that in time, like after the meteor shower and element veins which people are still waiting for :p and since there is actually already plenty of water in the city.
