ARK IS ALMOST 200GB???

I guess the title says it all, I just uninstalled ark when Extinction came out, because sometimes, big updates seem to have a bug for me, it says that I dont have space, so I uninstall and install again, and it always worked, but today I tried to do the same and it says that it requires 188879 MB to download..
So yeah, am I the only one with this issue or with this file size? Because i find it pretty odd because I only have the dlc maps, ragnarok and the only mod I have is S+

Don't download everything. Only get the maps you intend to play on

Welcome to gaming in 2018. Given the cost of storage relative to the other components of a rig needed to run Ark (looking at you GPU), quitting the game because it takes up too much space on your drive is akin to refusing to take your Maserati out on the interstate because of the cost of tolls.

Without installing any DLC its about 100GB

Game Library>>> Ark>>>> Properties>>>> DLC tab>>> uncheck the DLC you don't play on and then install. You can always download more later.

Btw, I play on Ragnarok, if I uncheck SE do I have to install it because of the SE dinos?
