Obelisk dinos grayed/greyed out

I know this is a problem that's happened before and I've checked as many results as I could through google searches, but nothing's come up with a solution or an explanation.

I have a lightning wyvern and several special wyverns from the mod Ancient Dragons and Wyverns trapped in the obelisk. They are grayed out and I cannot select them in order to download them to either my singleplayer server or my new private server. This started back in September btw, not related to Extinction.

It's not related to Classic Flyers, none of the servers I play use that mod.

All servers I play have the Ancient Dragons and Wyverns mod, so it's not bc of the special wyverns. So far, I've been able to download ONE of the special wyverns to my private server, but I couldn't download the rest for some reason! Also even if that mod were the issue, it doesn't explain my regular lightning wyvern still being grayed out.

All servers involved also had the same max wild dino level of 150.

I EVEN went back to my old server where I got my wyverns from, and I couldn't even redownload them back onto that server. They're literally trapped in the obelisk. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like for me: http://prntscr.com/lguf81


In one of the results from google searching the issue, it seems to be a common glitch... since 2017?? Does anyone know if this is a glitch that is still going on?? And if so, why doesn't such a terrible glitch have a fix yet? Is anyone else uploading their wyverns, or if you have that mod, their special wyverns, and just straight up losing them forever like this?

I too would like a solution to this, lost a pair of max mutated CF argies i was going to send to single player for safekeeping. As far as i know this happens most often with modded creatures, but i have lost vanilla creatures as well. Only thing i found is to delete the file that deals with obelisk storage to get rid of the stuck animals.

what file is it that needs to be deleted cause im not finding it anywhere
