Extinction map. Extremely loud, sudden music.

So every few minutes, there is loud music suddenly playing for the entire server. It lasts less than 4 seconds. Turning off the music in the game doesn't affed or mute it. The server admins don't know what causes it either. Is it some bug? Anyone else having this issue?

Some suggest it is either from drops landing, or someone initiating drops, but if that is the case, they should add an option to adjust the volume of it..

same here. is related to supply drops. when someone finish the drop the music spawn at 1287367192873% volume.
couldnt find a way to turn down that music (my music is turned off). cant understand how such basic thing is broken in the game...

That is most likely a raid event, in the form of either a supply drop or an element vein. There's 6 waves and at the end of every wave, they play a chime for all within a certain range to hear

Extinction needs more than a few issues ironed out. Music is inconvenient, but crashes to desktop as a result of OSD's really need some attention.
