how strong are corrupted gigas?

one is in the area i normally hutn corrupted, my velonasaur can high level corrupted rexes (120-150) in less then a second, i heard that corrupted gigas span on osd rounds sometimes and thought, "hey if he spawn as a enemy you need to kill in a wave then he couldnt be as strong as a normal wild giga, having something as strong as a normal wild giga would be ridiculous"
so is he as strong as a wild giga or alot weaker?

He will actually tank quite a few hits. Bring a meaty Dino as a shield and fire away. They usually take about 100 hits or so. But I hunt with tribe mates and 3 Vels firing have no issues taking 1 down in about 30 seconds

OOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKK, never mind, i did barely anything to it with my range attack on my velenasaur from the high ground and the giga ran up and started hitting me for 300 (lucky he does no bleed) and i decide to use my right click attack on him...... hits him 40(ish? just saw a bunch of 924) times for 924 damage instantly and then i use it again and he dies...... welp. i love the velenasaur but twoshoting a FREAKING GIGA has kinda showed me that his right click attack may need a small nerf.

His right click attack does more damage the lower his HP is. I've had it hit for 9k a bullet.
Edit also he was probably standing on top of you so the AOE being 360° probably hit him from every angle.

well i was on a clift and he sort of opick me up on his head so basically i was on top of him
