Gacha issue

My tribemate and I have found several Gacha's and tried to start the tame on them. They do the eating animation, but no tame bar appear. Anyone know why that is?

Leading theory is that someone else started the tame and left, but 4 gachas of different levels at the same time? and wouldn't they null out at some point and become free for all.

Given it's a brand new dlc, are you sure you're doing the correct taming mechanic? I have no idea what it is for the gacha, but obviously the information on taming of new creatures is still a little in flux at this point. I'd also suggest it's more likely you're experiencing a bug than trying to tame 4 different critters someone else already tried to tame and gave up on.

Yeah, people on the server say that's how it is done. And checked videos that did similar things, so should work. Also that it plays the eating animation do seem like one are doing the right thing. I am guessing a bug might be more likely, especially since I damaged one, and it later was refusing to take anything from me after it calmed down.
