In regards to ThickFreedom on youtube

I will preface this by saying I am more of a fan of NakedZombo because I think the channel goes way too heavy on the click bait titles and approach, however I happened to click on one of those click bait titles and what he had to say has concerned me.

ThickFreedom was getting hard and heavy on releasing videos at the twitch con event, "leaking" the content but heavily watermarking the videos. I thought it was not a cool move on his part, but to find out that today Wildcard has gone and lodged multiple copyright claims when it was said on twitter feeds that recording the event with cameras was fine.

Now I know that doesn't necessarily mean that it's OK to upload that recording to YouTube, but why is it that it seems like only thick freedom's channel was targeted, when there was quite a few other channels who did the same thing but didn't lose their videos or get a copyright strike.

Now, that's what I call a ♥♥♥♥ move, even if I don't like the guy. It sets a bad precedent.

There is a difference from videos of an event, and videos of gameplay content. They didn't expect people to focus their camera on a screen while playing.

Aren't YouTube copywrite violations really obvious cause YouTube removes the videos?

People try to bend the rules at events.

If you don’t think it’s fair since one youtuber was singled out for breaking the rules/ balance the books by reporting others.

And it’s easy to watermark someone else’s video since most tubers aren’t that uptight about sharing. If it’s your stream it’s easy to prove it’s yours to contest it, but watermarking what’s being show in public that isn’t even your content is a ♥♥♥♥ move.

Yes because they are giving some youtuber grief, once again who care's what has this got to do with steam they can put him in jail for or I care I don't see the need to post this crap in a gamer's forum on game play.

Think is just as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ through and through. A person from his Discord came to EverynightXRIOT saying RIOT needed to remove his video on the twitchcon stuff or else Thick was going take the video down, just stay away from ThickFreedom, he's one of the worst ARK channels in extistence. Stay with RIOT, Sl1p, xB, whoever you want execpt ThickFreedom

As an old person (ha!) I'm always utterly amazed at how there's a generation of 'YouTube Personalities' that are even worse than anything the paparazzi could dig up in y'olde days.

Am I the only one that finds the majority of these shouting, self promoting, self aggrandizing people just disgusting?

Especially in cases like this, the almost lawyer-like "But they didn't exactly specificaly engraved in stone mention I couldn't do that!" excuses show a severe issue with common decency.
