I really need help on this Gamers! I Can't place stone stairs?

Hello everybody, I have a problem that's been bugging me for the past few days.

I'm playing on an Ark Official Server PVE on The island map, Xbox One.

So the problem is this. I can't place stone stairs, in my base or anywhere for that matter. I can place anything and everything else like wooden stairs, metal stairs for example and stone walls & ceilings, but not stone stairs? Now I've even placed wooden stairs in the position I want the stone stairs in, but when I remove them and try stone I get the "it goes green but disappears" thing.

I'm not building by a drop or by any other base, this is in my base with a level ceiling platform. I've been able to place stone stairs in the past. So I tried to remove an old one and replace it with a new, but no luck. So now I have a row of stone stairs and one wooden one in the gap and it's driving me mad!

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed the issue? Also Is there any Ark Guru's out there that know what the problem might be? Open for any suggestions.

For Xbox i would suggest asking on the official forums not on steam, there are more people there that play on the Xbox as this is mainly for the PC Steam version. It will thus be more likely to find people there that might have the same problem, and maybe even a solution to said problem.

Not saying it cant happen here, just saying you'd increase your odds asking a bigger audience.

Thanks for the response. It's very frustrating, apparently it was posted on a Twitter forum and is now a known problem that is under investigation. How true this is, I don't know so fingers crossed it gets sorted

Im having same issue since update. Cant place stone stair or campfire and S+ mod seems broke .Im on rented pc servers.
