i own both. i played ark for 2,500 hours and i played pixark for about 10. ark is far better in every way, overall features and gameplay is just more solid. pixark is a mess IMO.

Ark is far better. Pixark was unfortunately a chinese cash grab leeching off arks success.

Pixark balance is garbage and you basically have to reprogram the entire game to get it to play properly. If you want a voxel game, just get/play Minecraft.

I also have both and had recently went back in to PixArk and they have done a lot of work to it. They are trying to make it a good game. I just would not say its worth the $40 for it. Wait till it goes on sale at least 50% off. Most of the commands for it are identical as in ark. Mechanics on it are pretty much the same also. They do have a thing in that game that kept me away from it. That was the fact you needed to claim land and keep it current by doing quests. But if you go in to a host or such you dont have to worry about that. Pixark is okay now. NOT worth the $40 tho.
Ark however is much much better but will tax your computer pretty heavily unless you have a pretty decent newer computer. Expect lag and disconnects.

PixArk is to Ark what Duplo is to Lego... runs on a potato.

Ark = Ark.... Does not run on a potato.

So bare that in mind.
