The island...allosaurus saddles?

has anybody found any on the island?

north west cave and snow cave I still have not done. Can't seem to find even a ramshackle allo saddle anywhere else. I have all other caves on farm now, and i even check the deep sea loot crates.

I think i had a saddle once, but never a BP on the island, drops can be a pain the rear end even my Rex saddle BP took ages to get. If im not mistaken Allo drops mostly from red drops, you might want to focus on those.

I have farmed a few places so much i have noticed patterns on drops. the easy water cave seems to be the place for rex saddles, i found a mastercraft BP for Rex saddles on the easy water cave.

lava seems to get me lots of , ankilo, saber, ptera, carno and argy saddles.
carno seems to get broto, plesi, ankilo, sarco, and masasaur saddles the most
easy water cave seems to get mostly BPs, i have found basilo, rex , squid and few others.
swamp got me frog, casteroids, and a few others
Deep sea, has gotten me scuba gear and weapon Bps mostly so far.

was hoping someone knew more specific place were they tend to show up the most.

and by drops you mean the non cave, from the sky kind?

Red Cave drops, the ones from the sky usualy have building stuff in it, and unless you can boost the drop quality via the config you wont find a good quality from those. Maybe a Apprentice or Journeyman from a sky drop, but you have to get stupidly lucky for that to happen, from my experience playing on official setting before i boosted the drops slightly. I could be wrong though, since RNG is RNG but i collected loads and loads of "normal" (sky) drops and never got anything good from those.

SOOO....after 3 weeks of searching i guess i asked 1 day too soon. i just found an acendant BLUEPRINT! on a yellow drop on the easy water cave....go figure.

According to the wiki on gamepedia (which I can't guaruntee is correct), allosaurus saddles can be found...
In blue, yellow, and red cave drops in both underwater caves
In red cave drops in the swamp cave
In red cave drops in "generic caves," which I think means all the caves except swamp caves, underwater caves, and ice caves.

I'll be damned, seems you need to looks for loot crates instead of beacons for some drops ... kinda makes sense but kinda confusing as well. You learn something new every day i guess.

Still haven't found any good saddles either for any of the main late game dinos.. Spino, Rex, Allo etc

Got tons of Pachyrino, pteradon, iguanadon and other high level saddles/recipies for speices that really don't serve much use in dungeons or against bosses.
Sucks the drop rates are so garbage for Rex etc.. I don't want to go looking in other maps though since I'm trying to play them all in story order.

I have found several mastercract/ascendant Spino saddles at the carno island cave.
Rex I have found some at carno and recently a master BP at the easy water cave.
I have farmed carno A LOT, i would say spino/rex are a bit rare but i have only seen them drop in carno island.

Ironically I have not seen any carno saddles drop at carno Island, I have only seen them drop at Lava cave.


Allo is the one that took me forever to find, and now that i have the BP for it im gonna be making saddles for all my 12boss fight allos.
