Unaligned floors
Messy and unaligned floors is something which can quickly ruin your day as you end up with multiple snaps and walls that just don't line up. This is why I usually take my time when creating the first floor to make sure that everything is aligned and to carry that alignement throughout the structure.

Recently, I saw a video which caught my interest. A window is sandwiched between 2 door frames to create a rather satisfying effect. The main problem with this is that the door opening isn't centered in the door frame. This leaves a rather ugly and noticeable line of stone on one side.

While an unaligned snap might be undesirable most of the time, this is one of those cases where it could be really useful to be able to create one easily. Does anyone have a technique I could recreate to achieve this?

Edit: Here's the video in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FGJiuZGu9Y&index=29&list=PLqxQ76Qh-0WFJ7I4NbFGH-so-yqaV-siz&t=0s

I'll also note that while the video uses 2 fence foundation to create the 3 layer wall, this effect can be achieved with only 1.
