Ark NO Servers FOUND!

Hi ive played arked for Years and ive recenlty decided to get back into it. I have DL the game and ALl the mods that were started as soon as i opened up the game. I made sure i checked everything with filters. For some reason its telling me no sessions found! on Everything UnOF and OF servers. Is there something that i may be doing wrong, Please send help for ya boy! THanks

do you have any filters set that might be filtering every server? like only show my survivors? do you see your favourite servers?

For starters, if you downloaded mods you previously used but arent using now I highly suggest for you to go into the workshop area, unsubscribe then go into the file section of your comp for ark and delete them. In otherwords start fresh. Many mods get abandoned and or are broken and that can be a problem in a different vein of things. For now though that would would not be why you dont see servers(at least in this situation).

Next, make sure you're not setting to see only password protected servers.

Next make sure you're on a correct tab. If you are for example on the friends tab, and no friends are playing then you'd not see any servers. If you want official or unofficial servers those are the tabs to use first.

If you are still seeing no servers available on any appropriate tab. Make sure you do not have any virus checkers blocking ports that you should be able to play on.

If still nothing is showing up, test things by going to Battlemetrics website and the ark section(it lists all 40,000+ unofficial servers and the less than 900 official ones. You can then click on one of those servers that you like and click the connect button there (while in ark's server menu screen for the quicker load up) and go from there. I recommend doing an official server first since mod load times would muck things up for the test).

If you are able to connect there and make a character on that server and log in fulling where you're on the beach, then exit out. of it and ark. Click play ark again and see if the server shows up on your "survivors" tab. If it does then check the of and unoff tabs and see if you start seeing servers then.

If none of that works you may have some other restrictions going on that may need to be looked into.

Hey Parridix , Thanks for replying and trying to help , I already made sure filters werent on anything that would stop the servers from showing up. Idk what to do man

Hey RetSam1 , I appreciate the info that you dropped was very promising unfortenatly , ive tried it all and it still isnt working , ive deleted everything in mods unsubd from everything in workshop. Tried what you said and for some reason its still saying no sessions found on UNOF and OF servers. Ive tried to connect with BattleM and it says Network failure , Unable to quiery server info for invite. If that sounds familiar please let me know.

HEy so i found a fix that worked for me , I ran CMd Prompt as admin , I typed in "netsh winsock reset" then i restarted my pc . Then i had to re-download ark, and servers started showing. Hope this helps anyone else who is stuck. Thanks

I was going to say if it didnt work after all I suggested to try that you had some sort of network issues so good you got it sorted.

Yeah , still not all servers are showing but im able to connect to msot from BattleM. Which is better than nothing

Yeah, I'm not even getting the official servers. What other restrictions? I haven't changed anything on the game.
