There must be a flag or something in the ARK files that prohibits Tek Armor from standard skin usage. The question is: Where?
No ini code can do it.
Most mods don't change core files to remain clean (green puzzle piece).
It might be possible to create a core mod that changes tek to accommodate any skin, but most mod author don't operate under this convention. And smart players/admins are looking for clean mods that don't mess up their games.
So if it is -technically- possible (and nearly nothing is technically impossible), I'd appreciate any help on how to do this.
It does take a more powerful PC to run the devkit than to play Ark.
