Speed Mutation (Equus)?
Is it possible to mutate speed on Equus? If so would it be worth doing that with low level Equus, breed them until 20/20 on either Side and move that onto fresh high level with very high weight? Any other suggestions are welcome.

All dinos used to have it. They have removed it from all flyers (since you can not increase speed post tame, they disabled the stat)

You can tho increase speed of land and sea dinos, but only post tame. Any 'points' in speed while its wild, are useless wasted stats (they increase the level of the dino without making it more powerful in any way).

Just like oxygen is useless on sea dinos that do not breath. I would love them to 'remove' all wasted stats, but for now, have to use a mod that does it instead.

Yes, it is possible. HOWEVER! You don't want to for a very good reason. Dinos can actually gain speed level in the wild, and thus, speed mutation exists. Unfortunately, speed lvl up from the wild and mutation doesn't do anything at all, they're called wasted points.

And for the record, dinos that can't level up speed also can't gain speed levels from the wild, which is actually a good thing as you have lower chance for a wasteful mutation.

Ok thanks, I'm after Equus with Weight and speed, but now it will be weight and health? I have one with 217 with very high Damage 378.7% however it has 21 wasted stats apparently... Waiting on troodon eggs hoping to tame more over the weekend with nice Weight, maybe health.

Yea it is unfortunate but the "wild levels" in speed are a waste of points on all creatures, same for the oxygen stat on aquatics like sarcos, sharks, mosa ect. I woul like to see some benefit from a higher wild speed stat, like maybe make it so it aides in stamina recovery or perhaps reduces the stamina drain of select species while sprinting.

I love the mod that means all wild dinos spawn with ZERO points in movement (like how flyers are) and all aquatics spawn with zero movement and zero in oxygen.

Means a lot more dinos worth taming.

Thats a smexy mod you got there... as a breeder i would love all my dinos to have garunteed no (or few) wasted wild levels.
