Calculate dino damage?

So I have been breeding dimorphodons and now have base stats of 608% melee damage (82 points). I was wondering how to calculate the damage they will do.

The wiki says base damage of 23 +1.15 damage per wild point and then 1.7% per domesticated point. Assuming I do not add any points, it would be 117.3 base damage? Then there is a tamign bonus I do not know how to factor in.

Can someone explain how to calculate dimorphodon damage without running around and having them attack dinos?

Make a training dummy :D

Placed on ground or structures, then struck by player or mounted dino. It first shows the damage per hit as a bare number. In the background it calculates damage done over 5 seconds, divide by 5 and then it shows the damage per one second as "DPS: something".

Yeah, but I'd like to calculate the exact damage per hit. That method can give different results depending on how fast the dino hits.
