Best way to get rex saddles?

So are the chances are low then. I rarely get saddles for larger dinos.

One of the rarest saddles/blueprints to find. Lava golem has a reasonable chance at dropping them on ragnarok. I've heard many people say one of the underwater caves on the island has a higher than normal chance.

Whether or not either of those actually have an increased chance, I really can't say for sure. What I can say is that the lava golem himself drops a lot of items upon death, upping your odds through quantity if nothing else.
