*SPOILER!* What do you think will happen after the extinction ending?

I think that we might be on another part of earth where aberration lands after the crash. And maybe we can explore the wreck? What kinds of creatures can we run into? And what will we find? (This is just what i think)

Next DLC. I think another will come out after extinction but the devs are not saying anything. Like how they did not add Scorched earth ascension to cover up aberration.

Basically the devs could be covering it up.

There wont be another DLC, personally I think the next big content-thing will be ARK2.

When the devs are done with Atlas I think they'll set everyone to create ark2, which will be ark1 but with a different title XD

Joking aside I think Ark2 will focus on Rockwells crashing to earth and the fact that we have to defeat him once and for all. Explorer note wise I think we'll see Diana and Mei-Yin make it to Arat Prime and discover its secerets. Cant really see what they could do creature wise, corrupted creatures would probably make a return and we may see new creatures from other arks that landed planetside.

The devs did say that Extinction won't be the last DLC. But one thing isn't clear, we don't know if that means the next dlc will be paid or free, like how they did TheCenter and Ragnarok. There some good candidates for the next free map that can easily become official.

They were pretty clear that Extinction would be the last story dlc as well, so I wouldn't expect anything brand new for the upcoming dlcs, if any.

Rockwell will attempt to take over the Earth by replacing the now defeated King Titan. He will be a lot harder to kill because he is almost as big as the King Titan and yet still retains his human intelligence. He and Helena will probably clash in some sort of TEK vs Corruption-fated battle, with players fighting for the TEK side.

Considering that all the ARKs have successfully returned to Earth, and all people have learned to live together again , ARK 2 may not be a survival game - but maybe a team or story game.

Technically Tek and Corruption are the same thing, since the overwhelming use of tek is what caused the earth to poo itself in the first place.

Thats what im hoping for. another ark DLC or game that would carry the story further. because we dont really know what truly happens yet. We see aberration fall to earth but we dont know what happens yet.

You are delusional If you think another ARK DLC is coming. ATLAS was a Ark DLC, but because the core fan base (the majority) already bought the season pass they won't make as much money if they put out another DLC. Don't believe what anyone or any dev tells you, instead look at there actions. Atlas is more or less proof of there current business model. And don't forget how they put out a paid DLC during development. Studio Failcard will do what makes them the most money, and that means no more DLC for ark. Ark2 incoming. And please don't buy it when it does. It will be another atlas.
