Anyone help with a Host Havoc question?

Our gaming group plays ark together, our usual server owner is out of town and we had issues on the server, so I decided to revive my own in the meantime. Trying to update the mods to the ones we used on the other server but no matter what I do, when I launch set the server to go live, it reverts all the mods back to what it was before (Only S+)
It goes through the entire process in the mod loader thing in HH. to the point of "you can close this window" it shows them there after, but once I start the server they go poof.

did you put your active mods in the gameusersetting . ini ?
like so :
[ServerSettings]
ActiveMods=1148802682,539464369,54

and if that doesn't work, reinstall the server

I did not....I am trying it now.

I had my own server so I knew how to set up some stuff but I never did mods back when I had my own lol...didnt know about them :p

Hey, make sure you set your startup.bat to read only, gameusersettings.ini to read only, and game.ini to read only.

ugh...still reverted to no mods -_- ...guess I'll try to start from scratch or whatever...

Been using HH since 2015. Their support team is great and quick to respond (though maybe they'll be a bit slow at the moment due to the Holidays). Open up a support ticket on the billing page if you still can't figure it out after reading the above link.

Fatim, are you editing the ini file in the correct folder?

idk...starting to get pissed. Got the mods to stay, and started up the server, went to bed because I got to go to work this morning. Look at it this morning and still the server hasn't come up. So now I got a whole new issue. Yay....never was meant to work in IT...

Got it up, i think. At work so. can't get on to check. My server ui shows it's up and mods are active.
Waiting for one of the lazy vacation people to wake up lol

So..server was indeed up, but despite the mods being in the GUS ini, and in the mod folder under that directory...still no mod shows up in game. It's like it's completely ignoring them.

Ok...so I reinstalled everything on the server. Now the mods work, the server is up....AND...all my custom ini settings (xp, gatherrates, tamerates etc) are all being totally ignored by the server.

Is HH just broken? It's not that I enetered it in wrong..it's identicle to what it was when it was working. In fact the first time I loaded it all back in it was working.

what map are you running ?
have you set up the command line manager ?

Yeah..everything is set up. Idk HH musta just been dead or something earlier. My friend got on his HH control panel and said it wasn't even responding to anything he did.
