Please fix OSD/element nodes spawns/pathfinding of dinos...
...or make the dinos that have spawned in the wave give off an aura or spawn them in a certain detailed area. Why make it so hard to get through all the waves while these stupid AIs get stuck behind stuff, lose their way, stay on their spawn point or find other things to entertain them. Instead of the difficulty lying in the amount and strength of the baddies, it's about many times finding the figurative needle in a haystack of those last hostiles in a wave that might trigger the next wave. It's super annoying. If you can't get the pathfinding right of your dinos, please insert another way to easily spot the hostiles that spawned because of the beacon/node.

Yeah it gets real annoying when 1/2 of the OSD/element veins are actually impossible to do because 2-6 of the dinos will just stand in 1 spot far away from the objective....
Yeah, and then you just have to get lucky when you slaughter all the possible hostiles in a km around the zone to get the next wave started. Frustrating thing is that even then most of the time the counter doesn't go down. and I got the fortune to be playing on a private server where I got wyverns, so I got attack power, speed and wings. I am really sorry for those people on official that have to do these things on foot and have to scout on foot for the last surviving hostiles...

Devs really need to fix AI pathfinding to the OSDs.
they sometimes teleport to the OSD's ( SOMETimes xD ), but they port right in front of the OSD which is stupid.
and other times they still get stuck somewhere though.
they should do something about that.
Yeah, and if you are lucky, something else suddenly killed the missing hostile...

What I don't get is that Wildcard implements this as a major gameplay element and then just leaves it broken with obvious flaws.

Why isn't this a bigger issue in the community btw? Do other people just muddle through, happy just to be able to fnish the events with a bit of luck? Or are there secret ways to finish them properly? :) It's THE biggest annoyment in Extinction for me,certainly as it's one of the things that progresses you.
Not to mention the broken Managarmr ice breath that doesn't really work "inside" OSD's and ELEMENTAL VEINS.
I think the most frustrating this is that i think some locations the spawning horde has a chance to spawn inside cliffs or even under the mesh, getting stuck in the map itself. These in particular are the ones that *should* teleport, but waiting 30 minutes for them to not appear is maddening. Unnoficial servers and singleplayer gets one out though... destroywilddinos. I feel sorry for admins on unnoficials that have to do this multiple times a day XD.

destroywilddinos kills the wave too? Good to know :) At least that's a plus. Still, we'd rather just play it the intended way.C'mon, Wildcard, fix it.
Yes it does, this way you could cheat up the legendary OSDs if you want.
Um, tek helmet anyone? That radar sweep comes in real handy for stuck OSD dino issues, so long as you know where the OSD dino's spawn at.
Look this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rediculous. Element nodes are the PRIMARY way to get element. THEY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUCK! they are buggy, mounts can get suck on top of the little nodes, the node itself can bug out saying "Hostiles Approching" but they never come, the 10,000 node are utter GARBAGE with mobs that never come and running all around looking for them they end up taking longer than the 50,000 ones. And don't even get me started on the Manas. In short Fix this ♥♥♥♥.
Hope they can fix this, it's quite annoying.
Anyone ever found a mod or something that can track where the enemy dinos are? I haven't managed to finish a single one cause dinos just get stuck...
I also would like to know about a MOD.
Some patch notes decades ago said "fixed OSD, teleporting dinos, improved path finding"
But I have yet to see any proper OSD improvements.
All I can do is using my admin command to delete all corrupted creatures, so the OSD keeps on going.
i use this mod.. you just shoot the drop or vein when there is 6 or less remaining dinos in the wave.. it works well for all all but the purple drops..
