It potentially can be. It depends on what the system is doing at the time. There are a lot of measures to stop corruption of critical files, but you should aim to address the cause of a BSOD rather than just keep letting them happen and hope for the best.

Until this problem is actually fixed, you can roll back your nvidia drivers to the last of the 300s, or launch the game in DX10 mode.

Out of curiosity, are you playing SP or joining a dedicated server?

Im not sure will it be healthy if i roll back drivers or use dx10. Should i lower the settings im using the geforce experience`s optimum settings (50-60fps on 1440p) should i change it to Like med-high?

BSODs are usually hardware or driver related, things you could try include making sure you're getting good temps and everything is plugged in properly, making sure your OS and drivers are updated and working. Do a search for the specific error code the bluescreen gives you. Might help get answers if you post the specs Steam is detecting in Help>System Information and post the BSOD error code here.

The problem is no one knows exactly what the cause is. There was definitely a change in the 400 series, and for whatever reason, the DX10 API does not trigger the BSOD. So however that is handling things, be it the shaders or difference in threading...

Its of no harm to use DX10. And the main reason to have the latest drivers is if it brings functions or fixes you need. If you are not playing anything that requires them, then the best driver to have is a stable one - no matter the number.

I did see one user saying dropping shadows to low helped. But thats one user, and people have a habit of saying a lot of things - so until I see more saying the same, the things that do appear to work are 300 series driver or DX10.

I had sometimes also a bsod with a similair system like you.
My fix was finding a newer driver for my network card. (intern on motherboard)
Since then.. no more bsod. Coincidence? maybe.

if you had searched the forum before you posted, you would have noticed that there are more people out there with the BAD POOL CALLER issue....

Oh what i also noticed, after ark hangs and your pc is being send to the bsod. It came to my attention that the actual trigger to this bsod was by closing the Steam process.
I managed to close the Ark process in my taskmanager but my cpu usage went higher from that moment. I could still use my pc normaly but that cpu usage (windows error report) was still there.
After i closed Steam i recieved this bsod.

sigh. why can nobody use the search function. people have been posting about this for the past month and solutions have already been posted.

nvidia's recent drivers are flawed and will trigger bad_pool_caller on ark, the only solution is to revert to an old driver version like 398.36 and you won't have BSODs.

if you can't or don't wanna revert, then don't play ark until nvidia finally decides to fix this problem on their end.
