Are mantis on Extinction Map in desert cave tamable? And if anyone knows where do I find deathworms?

they aren't tameable on extinction, since they're in caves and flagged as untameable as a result

corrupted deathworms are a thing in the big red zone but not sure if you'd want to bother with them now

despite being normal levels, they are not tameable on extinction, this applies to all caves on the map

lol My tribe just discovered that they are tamable you just need to get them out of cave to pen

Tho They Disabled Corrupted Deathworms for some reason so no diffrence here lol

There are inconsistency with the caves, I've been able to tame the achitina from the desert cave and they are not the normal levels. All the dinos in the Snow caves are not tamable since being abnormal levels. The Underground cave have normal level dinos but they are not tamable, which pissed me off the other day when i found a perfect level tek rex but since it was in the cave, I couldnt tame it.

Cave creatures were tamable during the first week or two, then they patched it and all of them became untamable, however, if there were old spawns present in the cave (prepatch spawned creatures) you could still tame them, but after that the newly spawned once wouldn't have been

that explains it.

i did test it and found mantis untameable, i wouldn't have mentioned this in the thread earlier if they were.

weird that they took out corrupted deathworms, but they're annoying to fight anyway so good riddance i suppose
