What are the best dinos for Bosses and caves?
I almost have two lvl 176 Thylas w/ 20k health, 2k damage, and i think around 8k stam, but most caves are to small for Thylas to be useful. and i worry that the Thylas would get wrecked when going against The Broodmother. so what would be a good choice for a dinos. I'm not transfering dinos so anything that is on the Island will be helpful! Thanks!

Would Rexes be a good replacement? i want a fast healer and megas are herbivores while rexes are carnivores.
Edit. i just remembered the dae nvm
Rexes will work also, they just dont get the anti bug buff from killing her escorts, so might take a little longer. It'll save some breeding time in the long run, though, since a rex horde will also work for the megapithicus, and help against the dragon.

what is the anti bug buff you said?

Once a ridden Megatherium kills an insect, it will get a buff called "Bug Killer". Bug killer causes the Megatherium's damage to multiply by 250% to any target for 120 seconds (which is multiplicative with the passive 150% multiplier against bugs). When "Bug Killer" is active while fighting bugs, the Megatherium's damage will be multiplied by 375%. This makes the Megatherium incredibly potent against bugs. Harvesting the bug's corpses will yield a massive amount of Chitin. At 200% Melee Damage, you can easily get 200+ chitin from a single scorpion. They are, however, too large to fit into many caves unless you take them in as babies.

-Straight from the wiki, explains it better then I could.

They dont have to be riden to recieve the buff, but in a boss fight like with the broodmother it's rather tricky to keep the buff up on all of them when your solo.
Regardless they do rather well on that fight, because a fair few of your army is going to get the buff, and it stacks with the Yuti's roar buff if im not mistaken.

All accurate. Yuty roar stacks, and even if only half of your 18 megas are doing 375% more damage, thats still 375% more damage.
Thylacoleos are decent for caves, but cannot be used in boss fights (except for the titans).
