Extinction and saddles

has anybody found any good saddles, like mastercraft etc? where and what kind?

I have only done blue orbit drops and gotten a few crap saddles.
has anybody found a rex or velo/mana saddle?

i've been relying to tek saddles as my only upgrade for my rexes so far would be nice if mastercraft+ spawn somewhere.

the gatchas seems to have a very limited list of items they can spawn and saddles seems to not be part of it.

Yes, Purple orbital, after wave 8 started giving us nice velonasaur and managarmr saddle blueprints (Mastercrafted)

For Rex saddles, we still go back to SE and farm the red chest drops. Or the surface of AB

what are you using to beat the purple drops? what dinos and how many?whats your strat?

I have only attempted yellow and i think i can beat them next time. But im soloing so its a bit harder to get organized fast. It would help a lot to know what dinos have been effective for you.

If your struggling to get a yellow done solo, dont even worry about purple yet, focus on being able to clear a red first.

Cave drops.

The different between red drops and purple drops is huge.
We tamed some gigas on Extinction and cross bred them etc.
1 giga for yellow
2 giga for red
4 giga for purple (imprinted and mate boost) (stopping at wave 10)

i wouldnt call it struggling, i almost finished last wave but i only took 5 rexes and i only had 3 heavily damaged ones on last wave so they died and i failed it. next time i take 5 rexes(with mutations) and 5 velos it should be cake. but im curious as to what dino composition has worked for others.

what lvl gigas did you tame, because i am yet to see anything high than a lvl 60 on mine and tamed gigas don't seem any better than a max lvl tek rex as far as health and damage. what kind of lvl and health and bite damage are your gigas doing? i can compare how far mine are from what you are using with that.

Rex saddles can be dropped from yellow OSD or higher. Rex saddles are more likely to drop at higher OSD, but yellow is the minimum.

Late addition, had to google if a loot table was out yet.

Caves seems to have a variation of loot crates in them, not sure what loot table they use, but aside from the added Extinction loot they looked in line with regular island cave drops in terms of color etc. So farming saddles in there might be worth it.

ill have to take a second look. the entrance to the desert once seemed huge so i tried flying in but it dismounted me not far it and had to shotgun my way out. I was under the impression one can fly on extinction caves. Unless my servers settings are not how they should be.

Allow Flying in caves is a server setting.

This yes, although it was bugged in the first week orso, allowing any flyers in regardless of server settings i think they fixed that rather quickly.
