rockwell dinos?
So, is the megalosaurus grab attack fixed in aberration, or is it still using it as default attack, making it useless for the boss if unmounted?

What stats would you suggest for spino or megalosaurus (if it is solved) for gamma/beta/alpha? What about stegos, we have good tek stego with very high HP, as the main purpose of dino is to tank, they could work maybe better than spinos...

Also, what about saddles? suggested armor for gamma/beta/alpha?

My personal favorite plan is 1 rockdrake per player to ride on since they're the most maneuverable and you can shoot from it. 2 or 3 reaper kings to tank hits away from the rockwell attackers. The rockwell attackers are whatever you have that does most damage, most likely megalosaurus, spinos, or if you got lucky with eggs, even drakes. It doesn't need to be great damage really. These dinos get left at the bridge so you can whistle them to attack rockwell as soon as you take down the last tentacle.
The only purpose of reaper kings is to use their absurd health pool to tank all the other reapers (and to a lesser extent the nameless) so they don't attack you or the rockwell fighters.
You and your rockdrake run around and shoot the tentacles with your weapon of choice, my favorite for this is a strong pump action shotgun, whatever you prefer should work, but I think that the pump-action is the fastest way which leaves less time for your dinos to die to reapers.
Once you've shot down all tentacles, glide back to the bridge and whistle your tames to attack rockwell and the next phase should start pretty quickly. Rinse and repeat until you ascend.

yes, this is the tatic I want to use. We are not using reapers for gamma though, we plan to make them for beta and alpha. I was wandering what stats and saddles are recommended to make the boss fight (for the dinos to be able to survive till the end). For the shotgun, we plan to use our 250% ones (plus crafing boost) for gamma and beta, we will search better ones for alpha though

The saddle for your mounts are the most important. I think if it's 60+ you're safe. I like to farm a bunch of nameless venom right before the fight because you can forcefeed venom to your drake to restore 100 hp each, so as long as you get the venom first, your saddle isn't as important since you can heal rapidly if it gets bad.
The saddles on your attackers also aren't terribly important since they won't be getting hit much at all, so just give them whatever saddles you can. If you don't have access to great saddles, it's not really a problem.
I did it with reapers which can't have saddles, but if you're tanking with your high-hp tek stegos, I'd recommend 60-70 armor saddles + veggie cakes and they should be just fine.
