single player wont launch

Ive been trying to play some abberation single player but once i press single player my game freezes and im forced to close out the game. the only mod i am trying to load is S+ if anyone has any solutions, lemme know

Is it only in singleplayer... or all aberration servers.

i clicked on the first multiplayer abberation server on the list and it worked but it wont work for single player. i also found out that it wont load singleplayer on any map, including the island

How long did you wait for the map to spawn up a new single player session?
How much ram do you have?
It can take a while the first time it spawns up a single player game on some machines. It may appear to freeze, but just walk away and wait five mins and see if its just taking a while on your PC

Sounds like your sp file might be borked...

I would backup the local saves file then delete its contents... then try.

Mine does the same, once you click play go make coffee and just wait dont click, it appears to be frozen but its loading, just give it time

When you get the error click on the window and Ctrl + C and paste it here

i only run 8 GB ram also and yes it can take a while to load into SP and always sticks and looks junked once it hits underwater2 but after a while always loads in just give it some time
and trust me if my dino of a comp can run this anyones can pmsfl

I had this issue too. I ended up deleting the game to reinstall, but before I re-installed, i went into the Ark folder and deleted the entire ShooterGame folder. I re-installed and have not had any issues. There may be a corrupted file somewhere in that folder.
