Does Gacha Level Matter?
As the title says, does gacha level change anything when you tame it. Sure it will have better health and what not at higher levels, but in terms of crafting, whats the difference between a level 5 gacha and a level 150 gacha?

Random Number Generator. RNG just means it randomly does xyz. In this case which gacha has which resources it can produce are randomly decided by the game when that specific gacha spawns. And as well the stat points for skills also are randomly generated on spawn/tame.

it means you can randomly get higher points into any one stat... but the higher the level .. the higher the base

So I read on reddit that going for crafting skill at and to stay at 160% is most effiecent. Would this be effected by the rng?

The higher the crafting skill for a gacha, the more frequent it drops gacha crystals. As a general rule the higher the skill the better the results. 160% discussion you're referring to on reddit I've no clue about but it seems to lack context as to why keeping at 160% (ie instead of going higher) would be disliked if the only purpose of your gacha is for resource production.

So you think going as much crafting skill as possible would be wise, cuse thats what I'm about to do lol.

Crafting skill increases the speed the crystals drop and the quality of the resources dropped. (Note that doesnt increase the quantity of the resources dropped per crystal)

Additionally, feeding it snow owl pellets provides it with a temp buff that increases crafting speed, increases the quality of loot produced, and increases the quantity of resources gained by double on average.

If you want to thoroughly test all these things, simply go into single player, change settings to adjust skill points significantly, spawn in and tame some gachas, then test with dif skill levels and pellet feeding to see how the mechanics truly work.

lvl 5 gacha have 100% or 102% crafting skill (probabilty once tamed)
lvl 150 gacha can have 136% or more so you end up with aplying points to 220%+
How ewer quality of items is capped by Ark devs so you want obtain exterme asc item, you get few asc sporadicaly but not max top as you can obtain with certain looted blue prints and mindwiped with all skils in crafting.
Who work with stone then higher level gacha is better as it will have bigger weight and you can load it with alot of stones and pellet's.
Ppl circumvented stone and pelet using iguadon and producing a lot of seeds for gacha but devs made seeds to spoil now.
Another food with low weight is fruit of plant species y. those fruits (traps) work as structures for gacha and gacha like to eat structures. But is a lot of work and time consuming collecting plant y fruits in green house.
So remain basic - stones and gacha higher lvl weight requrement

You might be able to use focal chili(?) on gachas along with feeding them war maps or owl pellets to maximize profits, War maps if you ain't got no snow owls.
