I don't understand the forest titan.

So to make it short: me and a friend did our first try against this wood boi. Our very first try against a titan. And I have a two questions:

-Clearly you need to fly. Anything on ground is garanteed to be one shotted even way out of the visual range of the titan's model. That and the spores from trees slowly kill you. However the friendly wyverns do trash damage to him or his nodes. So what do I use? A magasomething? With the stamina consuption of this thing I don't believe it's a great idea and the beam is barely fonctionnal. We tried to take our basic mech there and the damage is still too low (while making the titan's AI glitch with the wyvern I was riding, and holy crap this guy is a bug mess). I don't think a rifle would do better while costing a lot in ressources. We tried with cheat (never bothered with bullets otherwise) and I don't feel like shooting his tumors for 3 hours straight. So what do we use? Infinitestats like Youtubers?

-He actually regens. What's the point of making him spawn on the regular map if you can't move him at all? 10 meters away from his spawn and he's back at full health (pretty sure it also regens his current nodes) while going back to the center. Did I miss something about this mechanic?

Well the DEVS did mention wasn't going to be just damage-dealing and that some thinking is required but I haven't found the answer, yet.
