do tek rex's spawn in singleplayer?

Are you talking about The Island or another map? Cause Abberation doesn't have Rexs.

It also depends on the region, if you are on The Island, you may just not be looking in the right area.

not abberation, been playing on extinction, rag, and the center checked most the rex spawns and killed them to try to get a tek rex to spawn but no luck :\

They're pretty rare, i've seen 4 total tek rexes, 1 was on rag. You'll find one eventually.

must be the rarest dino ingame then cause ive seen everthing except a tek rex lol

Any Tek dino has I believe a 5% chance to spawn in place of the normal version of that dino. So if the game decides to spawn in a Rex somewhere, there is a 5% chance that that Rex will be a Tek Rex. As someone who plays exclusively on single player worlds, I have seen a few.

For SP you have to actively cull dinos to get fresh spawns. Or manually do a wild dino wipe.

When you cull dinos, kill everything in that spawn group. The wiki has a list of spawn groups and also the spawn maps which can show full spawn group.

your best friend would be a ark s+ tek transmitter, then you could use the dino scan feature, that would save you hours of flying around looking for one.

transmitter doesnt scan the whole map, only a small area in sp at least when i tried

Fyi for SP you must turn off hibernation to get the s+ transmitter dino scan function to work. But it is amazing even just to confirm something is spawning.

If you want slightly different spawns without messing with an ini file, the simple spawner mod is great.

I think it is a launch command -preventhibernation
Also, remember, the S+ Transmitter only updates every 15 minutes so changes wont be seen immediately.
