Report a translation problem
Not sure if you use mods. But there are suicide potion mods and dino retrieval mods (awesome teleporters). If you have to will power to only use them only for bugs/glitches, assuming you consider this cheating .maybe add something like that.

Nothing tracks cheating like that in SP, you are most likely going to have to use it at somepoint in time anyways, might aswell learn to use it now.
So using this won't mess up the Steam AP's? Just want to be sure
Nope there save to use on SP, you could cheat your way into almost all achievements if you wanted to (or unlock them all for matter), obviously that would kill the fun of the game. But saving yourself from glitches is not an issue, they do tend to happen quite often in Singleplayer.
This will not be your last frustration.
If you are not already making redundant backups of your saves folders, START.
I started backups from day 1.
I read the forums a little bit before I bought the game. :)
This is the first time I've used a console command in the game.
I guess it won't be the last time, but
I'll restrict it to glitches.
