Troodon taming? How to do it?

Here is what I have tried:
hatch a high level baby wyvern, rexes and gigas. Left them on neautral, and stood on opposite side. It has no interest in them.
I took down a high level rex, put him in the pen and still no aggro. I then tried a rare flower and pheromon darts. No success....

Also doing this at night.

How on earth do I get him to attack my tames to get him?

first shoot the tame untill it's almost dead since the troodons do like 2 damage when they hit,
than go in and stand on your tame, the troodon will attack YOU and hit the tame too,
couple of hits and tadaa say hello to your troodon ;)

I did this in a small Pen with a baby Giga, to agro i shot Pheromon darts at the baby after i brought it down to a 1/2 hit kill.

If Pheromon darts dont work, then i dont know tbh, especially when you eat rare flowers it should agro onto atleast you. Since even the flowers dont work, it seem there is something else wrong, although i have no clue on what that might be.

trodons are aggresive by night did you try that?

Sometimes, when somthing aggros you from inside a pen, and it can't reach you for long enough, it starts running. If the pen is too small, it will never stop running. You need to take it out of the pen for a bit probably.

troodons taming is actually reason why i download that mod in first place....i have try with big pen and sacrificing my dinos (at night) but they just refuse to attack and just run around like crazy...
Good thing about Immersive taming is that you can open settings and set everything you like + you can still use tranq arrows/darts if you want....best mod ever...it actually make me come back to ark after quitting some time ago.....

Actually, there is still work involved in taming with the Immersive Taming mod, it just changes the method in which you do it.

As for you comment related to the OP's issue - surely one as wise as you surely has pointers to give - oh great "I can tame a Rock Elemental on Dodo Kibble I'm so 1337" you.

As for my pointers... I only tamed Troodons twice and both times I used baby Rexes and both times, at night; shot pheromones at the babies and they went ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the babies and I had a new Troodon in the morning. Can't see why yours wouldn't even bother...

If you have no mod that actually changes or alters their taming, or behaviour(or that of other dinos - such as a baby mod), it's odd. Could try what Tiny Hippo said and make sure the pen is big enough, I know my Hyena taming pen was a tad small and caused it to constantly run, gave it an extra 1x1 fondation and it did the trick.

It's not that hard to tame a trooden. Just catch one in a cage and feed it tamed dodo's at night time and your done.

However, thanks everyone for the helpful input. I am guessing the two I had were bugged. I will try again.
As for the mod, I can't get it sadly.
I will try to down it BEFORE I put it in the pen at night and see if that works.

Just be sure its a 1-shot deal, its already a finicky process sacrificing one, you dont want to need more!

Well tried the advice and still not working :( I simply wanted to add it to my collection but... I might have to move on to another dino xD
