S+ Tek Elevator Question
i hope someone can help me with this i got my base in extinction city at a very high located platform and i was trying to use the tek elevator to go all the way down to the ground so i built the ceiling and pillars all the way own and then the other tek elevator and i removed the pillars. it doesnt work at all it says like no matchpoint found and my guess is that its to far away can someone confirm this to me? does the other elevator has to be in sight? because it currently is not. or is it neccessary that the elevators are connected with structures?

How much room is between these?

I am building underwater tunnels where I connect the upper and lower levels with the same elevator.
I previously didn't connect the two parts with underwater compartments and it still worked.
However, as of looking a bit weird, I rather placed the full way of compartments there too.

Yet, it also worked without the connection.

The highest distance is 20 underwater cubes, where any of these is 2 walls high.
So it's 40 walls between them and they work fine.

Just one thing:
I needed to raise the lower elevator with half walls (railings), as it was stuck in the forcefield of the cube compartement and wasn't recognized.
Maybe yours is obstructed in a similar way?

i didnt count them but its higher than a floating obilisk so like 150 walls high or more my next step would be placing walls and counting them but thats a lot of work thats why im asking if anyone got a clue if theres a max range

Holy cow!

I never tried with such distances.

Isn't there a limit of how high you can build?
Maybe that's changed with S+ (well I haven't tried yet), but it may be possible that it is really too much distance?

I have only watched videos yet, so I haven't seen that much.
Mostly checked out the new creatures and fell in love with the Snowl. <3

Are you sure that the elevators are at the very same spot just one is above the other one under and they are not obstructed by any other structure?

After some help , Like Alex, I have built on the Main Skyscraper, Lat 50.4 Lon 45.5 ish and that is a flat platform way up top, where I have placed the Top Elevator.

I cant find the bottom position for the S+ Tek Elevator to work.

Does the Bottom have to be dead perfect, if so how is this achieved with the GPS . . .

Any assistance would be Greatly appreciated

I have found that it doesn't matter if a premade structure is in the way, as long as the elevators are lined up. I have a couple that are not lined up 100%, but you have to be on the spot that does line up to "teleport".

Just started working with these the other day but found out the max between elevator floors is about 80. Have a structure that is over 100 and I put a floor about 60 and then at the top and it works fine. Just have to press space or C twice to get to the top or bottom.
