Wyvern LOST in lava. Any advice?

Hello. So i'm asking if maybe somebody knows what could happen to fire wyvern lost in lava. Long story short. It was on ragnarok server. I was egg hunting. I got killed. My stuff floating in the air. I get back on wywern and tryed picking my stuff from air by standing on back of my wyvern. Too close to ground so wyvern tryed to land. So it flew right into lava fall with me on back... I got killed but wyvern is nowhere to be found. Fire wyvern should not be affected by lava. And in my tribe manager is no kill mesage other then kill message for me and my otter. I know i should have tracker on it. I do not have. Does anybody know if it could got killed without kill message or bugged through texture or teleported somhere? I tryed whistling "all follow" and holding "H" to see whistling group green triangle. Nothing... I know i should contsct admin but he is online only here and there. Thank you for any advice.

To anyone who is reading this and facing the same problem of a disappearing wyvern or flying tame in the scorched earth lava fall at the wyvern trench, i can confirm that it is a bug that your tame does not show up as dead in the notifications when they disappear in the lavafall.

My wyvern flew too close and it looked like it was stuck in the top right cliff of the lavafall, but it WILL take damage (75 per tick) and it WILL die. It's just that for some reason, lava deaths sometimes don't show up in the tribe log.

The lavafall in SE is very buggy and supremely dangerous. Wyverns are very susceptible to getting stuck in it because of their crappy turn radius. The radius to get "hit" by the lava is also rather large, even bigger than how it looks on your screen, so you or your tame can get damaged even if you are a distance from the lavafall (it will look like you're not in the lavafall but you actually are). Furthermore, it is difficult to whistle call wyverns out when they are stuck there, for some reason, my T and J did not work unless im really close to it (unlike other tames).

TAKEAWAY: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE LAVAFALL (arnd 60,15) IN SCORCHED EARTH (It is the south end of the wyvern trench).

If you find yourself in this situation, you will quickly realise that your wyvern or flying tame will auto dismount you when it hits lava. This will then make you fall and you will likely die in the lava.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

1. Quickly turn around and whistle your tame towards you, either spam J or T whistle. In Scorched Earth, there is a crevice on the top right corner of the lavafall, which big flyers can get stuck in and die slowly. When they die, their BAGS WILL BE STUCK IN THE LAVAFALL. This was what happened to my wyvern.

2. Swim as much as you can out of the lava, head for the shore on the right side.

If you made it out, congrats.

Otherwise, do the following to retrieve your body and tame's bag (it will die in the lavafall, no doubt about that).

You will need the help of someone else to retrieve the bag of your dead tame (remember, the tribe log will not show the death).

TO GET YOUR BODY FROM LAVA:

>>>WHEN YOU RESPAWN, MAKE SURE TO BRING WATER, FOOD AND GHILLIE/DESERT CLOTHING<<<

1. Get grappling hooks (abt 10-12) and a crossbow.
2. Prepare a good flying mount like an argy or ptera that has good control (i.e. not stubborn like wyverns) and movement control (i.e. good, tight turn radius)
3. Fly there, and CLEAR ALL WYVERNS FROM THE AREA FIRST
4. Land on the shores. You should be able to see your body bag.
5. Shoot a grappling hook to your body in the lava pit (LMB). DO NOT CLICK ANYTHING ELSE.
6. Run to your mount, ride it, and your body will be dragged along by the grappling hook.
7. Land somewhere safe (outside the trench, in the desert), press C to unhook your grapple, and loot your body (BEWARE OF SCORPIONS, MANTISES AND ARTHROPLUERAS).


TO GET YOUR DEAD TAME'S BAG THAT'S STUCK IN LAVA:

1. You need someone to fly an argy or ptera.
2. Before your friend mounts and flies the argy, shoot a grappling hook to the argy (RMB)
3. Practice reeling yourself in and out away from lava (reel in/up = LMB, reel out = RMB) when your friend is flying the argy
4. Get your friend to carefully fly near the lavafall, but above it. You should be able to see the dead tame's bag somewhere in the top right corner or right side.
5. Reel yourself down to the lava (YOU WILL TAKE DAMAGE) and quickly loot the bag
6. Once done, tell friend to quickly fly away. DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING, JUST GO ALONG FOR THE RIDE.
7. Ask them to land somewhere safe so you can dismount from the grappling hook (C key).


IF YOU HAVE NO FRIEND:

1. Make one or ask server for help.
2. If there's still no one:

1. Prepare several grappling hooks (arnd 10 just to be safe)
2. Make sure your crossbow with grappling hook is ready for firing (load the hook)
3. IMPORTANT: WHISTLE UNFOLLOW (Y) and PASSIVE to your argy. Or he will ♥♥♥♥ up your rescue mission.
4. Mount and fly your argy to near the top of the lavafall where the bag is, whistle stop all/press x so he stays in position.
5. BE CAREFUL AND CONFIDENT: Now, dismount the argy and look up, and immediately shoot a grappling hook to your argy's bum (or anywhere on his body).
4. Reel yourself up/down until you can reach the bag (you will take damage).

5. Reel yourself up (LMB) until you can reach your argy and mount it (E) and fly away.
