IDK man wich comunity u difending, i tell right now, i have on discord some leaders of megatribes from official pvp servers, they know 2 and they see to degradation of game in this last year. Which comunity u difending PVE or SP. Man ARK have must players on PVP server, and my thinks are from PVPs players your idea of game suck

Why not stuff some surprise dinos inside the base so when someone breaks in they immediatle get pounced by a raptor, contract mega-rabies from a megalania that was hiding on the ceiling and then spread the rabies to their friends, and get swarmed by a dimorphodon army once they step inside?
You have access to more things than turrets to defend your base.

It occured to me after I typed all this that you're on Aberration.
So instead of everything I typed, you still have access to raptors to put inside your base, purlovias, and megalos, except the megalos are pretty much rexes on aberration.
Put some reapers in there then.
Get a crab inside where there's enough space next to some other things so that it can grab the players off their mounts.

asoult rifle have to do 50 hp dmg por hit with FLAK or game no make sence, FAB sniper to, PVP is shoter game if we cant killing each others why i am here

And suddenly you have to start bringing more than just trikes and stegos to counter my counters.
What you had originally expected to be a normal raid turned out to be a zoo filled to the brim with reapers, megals, purlovias, and raptors keeping players stunned and off their mounts.
After you break through the next wall, say hi to 5 more turrets aimed at your face and a purlovias that was waiting to stun you.
It will always be easier to raid than to defend since the raider is online and the defender is normally offline, but there's a lot you can do to defend.

To be fair not all do. In my limited experience with Ark pvp players, the best ones, which tend to be the ones seeking actual pvp, are extremely creative and will come at you from all sorts of weird and unexpected angles to gain a competitive edge. Most, including this guy, aren’t really what I’d consider pvpers. They’re just offline raiders who would never play pve because then they can’t take other people’s stuff, which I suspect is the point of the game for them, not actual pvp. These players, as demonstrated pretty clearly in this thread, are characterized by extremely linear, uncreative thought. They not only tend not to see things from different angles, they don’t understand why everyone else doesn’t see things exactly the way they do.

Hence turrets, and only turrets, even when turrets are predictable and fail.

I love this statement for its sheer absurdity. Yes, yes you are indeed right sir. Why didn’t I see it before? If these 25 turrets don’t drop 4 stegos in 25k bullets, then Ark makes no sense. Why build anything? Tame anything? It is all useless! Dust in the wind.

Even dilos and mesopithicus could be extremely useful for defense given their slow attack.
Just get a bit creative, there are so many ways besides turrets to defend your base.
