As for the despawn, this happen for many different reason that I don't know (Never needed to search info for this).
Doing a destroywilddinos wont make it spawn faster.
And not sure but game allow some spot for them to spawn but I never heard it was forcing every server to spawn at least 1 of them at all time.
By the way, if you play in single player, theres a lots of problem with the spawn. Better create a non-dedicated with password.
Ok i will stop destroywilddinos
Why it's better to create a non-dedicated server ? But i'm lazy to restart a new world.
Naturally, the giga is very very very rare ??
To avoid SP problems you need a full dedicated server. ASM makes this easy and you can copy your save files over.
@OP there should be like 1 giga up somewhere. If you have s+, you could use the s+ transmitter to check spawns and get coordinates.
To increase giga spawns you would need to add them to a new spawn group in game.ini. Or easier, use the simple spawner mod.
I finally found a Giga, but now I can't open his inventory http://puu.sh/BllW6/c2c27439e3.jpg
Don't fool around too long, they wake up fast.
