Plant Species X shoots creatures underwater?
I'm having problems with underwater pen's to leave my aquatic creatures, i have made three diferent setups so far, this last [ https://imgur.com/SPmYd3U ] its working soo far, no more megalodons spawning inside or my creatures simple appear outside the walls.
I have plant a lot of species X to shoot anything around it, but aparently the plants doesen't shoot other wild aquatic creatures.
They shoot or not?
I made some tests with a wild ichty, and the plant just don't care to him.

And yes, i set the plat to shoot EVERYTHING and the range is HIGH...

Dunno about the plants. But turrets work underwater, I can confirm that.

The problem is: Turrets need electricity =/
But good point, i will consider some turrets maybe

Wait...how is it you can build underwater bases which require tek tier, but electricity is an issue? I’m confuzzled.

Sounds like the OP just has a water pen. Not a full tek underwater base.

just a pen, Sorry if the sentence sounds confusing.

Underwater tek is underrated, if only because it’s super easy to build and then reconfigure mazes out of the cube walls for endless hours of fun combining maze and drinking games for a repeatable tribe event.

Try placing your Xplants on slope ceilings, so they are actually targeting into the water. The way you have them set up now, there is blind spots causing them not to shoot into the water.

Maybe, but I have basically the same layout on my main base, is on a cliff, and the plant shoots dinos top to bottom, pretty much the same cenario.

And when I made the test with the icti, I littlery make the wild creature go around all the plant, prety close, and nothing = /

The plant do not shot icti's? XD

I will try different methods, maybe put a plant in the beach, and agro something near to see whats happen, make the water creatures come a little out of the water, or something like that...
