Ark server problems.
While hosting a dedicated server using the Ark server manager the server manager will say "waiting for publication" however unlike other people this happens after the game is available and people can join for some time. People can join aslong as it is available but once it changes nobody can join. The people already in the server aren't kicked out and can still play just fine.

I tried looking up a solution online but everything that came up was about it not saying available in the first place. My ports are forwarded correctly, my firewall is setup, and my ip is static. Please help so i dont have to take 10min to restart a server everytime someone wants to join. (im using abberation with no mods or conversions, this problem has been going on since the first time i ran a server)

edit: if I (the host) leave and rejoin the server it becomes available again for a while until it goes back to waiting for publication. This means i can't leave the server on while im gone and have people join.

As you state above it happens after you connect to it and you go invisable on steam. 2. Your PC is not "strong" enough to run the game and host at same time. As you state you have 8 concurrent players at any given time connecting to you. Also since you are connecting to a server that is within your LAN always make sure you are connecting to it with the LAN option in ARK. Hopefully your ISP doesnt block you from changing settings in the device and you can make adjustments.

There is no solution. The servers are actually just fine and published already. The client just doesn't update. I've been running multiple ark servers since 2015, it's always said this.

Then how come it is that my recent server I set up for ragnarok still says "Waiting for publication" in the ark server manager, yet I've already had a few random people find it and join all on their own. And I've never advertised it's existence in steam or any public forum anywhere.

My problem is that it says active than it says waiting for publication after a while. People cannot join when it says waiting for publication.

Both of my two ark servers say waiting for publication in ark server manager and I've had one of them running for years and everyone joins it all the time. If people can't join your server then it's some other problem, not publication, publication doesn't mean anything. Likely your ports aren't forwarded correctly.

Yes and insulting someone that's trying to help you is great. I was going to try to help you but not with that attitude. Have fun figuring out your problems then.

Couple questios. You are using ASM to run a server from your home? Are you running the server off the same PC as you play on? When you connect to the server thru ARK are you connecting thru LAN option or other? Depending how you answer these questions determines what will be asked next and stated to help you.

How many players are trying to connect to your server? Does the issue of any one not being able to connect happen when you are connected?
Sploder12 Sep 23, 2018 @ 7:26am
the number varies from 1 to 8 (not including myself) The issue does happen when i'm on the server (i have not tested if i am not on the server)

edit: Also i am usually invisible on steam
