Just got a server

ok so I just purchased a Logic Servers server. but I cannot find it in the list anywhere, can someone tell me or help me out with how to find the server I just bought to be able to log into it? thanks!

Don't know that host, but most have a direct connect link from the dashboard.

Or add the ip:port to steam favorites

I do know that host. Used to use them. What Kitsune said is correct, there should be a direct connect link in your dashboard and you can also plug the ip into steam favorites. Before you do so however, if this is your first time runnig a server, did you setup a commandline? Not naming any names, but someone I know might have not done this very basic thing the first time around and then couldn't figure out why it didn't work. This person might have said things, and thrown things, and invoked all sorts of ancient gods and curses and wrath and poxes upon the hosting provider and their children's children, but in the end I really should have just setup the commandline.

I mean this person.

Yeah I really have next to no idea what I am doing. this is the first time ive ever purchased a server for anything. where do I enter this command line? and what do I input? also what dashboard do I need to download? Logic servers has a login area on their website for the account but nothing that launches from there. am I supposed to have downloaded something?

Your hosts control panel will have links to the commandline, config files, server files, mod installs etc etc.... and most have a faq.

Most also have toggle options for commandlines (you dont physicaly type out the commandline)

how do I get to this control panel? ive found the control panel, however it asks for a user name and password. neither of which I have set up ever, and there is no place to click a "create" option? only a forgot password. to which I tried, and inputted my email address I used to make the purchase and it says error sending email.

You must have a user name n password... how else did you set up an account.

Check your emails... you will have them assigned.

I have a user name and password for their website where I created the account. but that is not working to access the control panel. however I just saw an email that said they should be sending another email with TClogin details... and if I do not get that email in 10 min to submit a ticket... I did not get the email.. (checked spam folders too) so I think I have to submit a ticket.. but at least I am making headway I think.

You should see if there is a YouTube tutorial for you host. Also if the host provided tutorial videos or documents
