Game keeps crashing whenever I try to load into Aberration.
I'm in need of some help, I keep crashing/getting a fatal error when I try to load into the Aberration server I play on.
It always crashes at the same part of the loading screen "AB_Skylight_Biolum"
I have not had this issue with this server nor any of the other maps in the cluster server up until today so this is something that has only just started happening since I logged off last night.

I've verified my files once and am currently doing it again. I've tried launching it in the normal mode, Low Memory mode, Extremely Low Memory mode and the No Sky Effects option. None of these seem to help. Worst case scenario I'll have to reinstall my game which would be a pain as I have limited data. So if anyone has any ideas on how I could fix this issue I would really appreciate the help.

Okay, nothing wrong with your system. I ran it on the R9 270x (4gb vRam) card just fine, but I have only a dual core and 8gb ram

go get the updated version of Catalyst. Your driver version is getting old
don't rely on Windows to update your video driver. let catalyst tell you when a new driver is out. It updated not long ago.

Yes, video driver is over a year old.
You ran it on an R9 270 4Gb VRAM but his only have 2Gb VRAM. On another note, make sure you don't put your settings too high.
It is also possible that your save got corrupted.

Is it possible for a save to get corrupted on an unofficial server? How would I go about fixing that without deleting my character?

In the game profile for ark, turn on Radeon Chill (if it came down with catalyst) and set it to turn on at 30 and off at 60. This will also cap your fps to 60, which is okay because of your current video card. Make sure the settings are at
For Anti Aliasing: Override Application, 2xEQ, Adaptive Multisampling.
Morphological can be on or off
Anistropic Filtering: Override Application, 4x
Texture Filtering at Performance
You can have Subsurface on
Vertical Refresh depends on your monitor. I have mine set for Enhanced
Open GL Off (You can try it On)
Shader & Tesselation to AMD Optimized
FreeSync (if available) Off, Unless you have a Free Sync capable monitor.

In Game set the settings to Medium and tinker from there until you find a balance between quallity and FPS.
I usually get a comfortable 30fps with my setup, but I only have a dual core and 8gb ram.
You may get up to 60FPS.

Nothing you can do from your end. the character save data is on the server, with the exception of achievements, etc.

Not a problem. Not often I get to help a fellow player with an AMD video card. everyone always seems to have the more expensive NVidia ones.

Unfortunately after a couple of hours it started crashing again. Had to have a tribemate kill me down in the Drake area so he could bring my stuff back up. Just going to have to reinstall and see if that fixes anything.

Reinstalling the game + the mods the server uses did not fix the issue. Seeing as I am the only one on the server that experiences this issue I doubt it is anything to do with the server.
It seems that it crashes the most when I am down in the red zone by the Drake nests
Seems that it could be one of the mods. Further testing.

Do you crash in singleplayer with no mods?

Or try finding a no mod unofficial... or official... if you crash on All available options then you'll know its your end be it hardware or software.

Yeah, I hopped on SP with no mods and went down there with no issue.
Logged off down there and put all the mods the server uses onto the SP and then crashed trying to load in.
Going to try removing the mods one at a time to try and find out which is causing the crashes if that is the issue.
