do ppl found a way to "control" the rock drake egg spawn ?

as teh titles stat, do ppl have found a way to control the egg spawn ?
exactly what im trying to ask is, is there a way to force high lvl egg to spawn ?

for days now that the event started, im going everyday for 2~3hrs into rock drake trench with my reaper

im getting tons of egg that great, but in 3 days of farming the 70+ eggs that i ve got i have like only 2 185 6 170+ and 0 190

im aiming for a "event" rock drake color HL, but so far ...

so was wondering that instead of waiting for random egg to spawn, is there a way someohow to control those ....?

Eggs are based on the wild parents. So cull the low levels and leave any really high levels.

already done this
problem is that even if there is 50 high lvl if there is only 1 lvl 10, the lvl 10 will lay an egg

and then to "free up" the nest well you have to choice than to pick up this egg, making all higher lvl to aggro and have to kill em

thats why asking for a real solution if there is one

Levels are random.

Unless you play with mods.

ive read a while ago that caging a wild highlvl RockDrake near a nest will still allow it to lay eggs there, so maybe thats an option? havent tested myself tho, so cant say for sure...

You don't have to kill them. Use a drake. Grab the egg and gtfo out of the area in a few seconds. And before it's said that's not possible, it is, I do it all the time. That's how I got my high level valentine's drake to spawn.

If you can build. People do it with beavers, as long as a dino is not outdone of its spawn zone it shouldn't despawn, but doesn't mean it will work. Maybe, but outside of cheats there is no other "solution".

Since you cant build there, you depended on RNG, and RNG is RNG so your either lucky or not.

Well I dont wanna be that guy but if you want "cheat" eggs spawn a drake 126/127 and force tame it.

its a way to do things BUT considering that you want only 1 egg (and still its relying heavily on RNG), and yet i ve seen ppl losing rock drake when getting out, so i still prefer reaper way



with tribe mate we think we might found a way to "control" somehow eggs

1 paracer (with small house and bed) 1 reaper 1 rock drake

person on rock drake pull the low level with a longneck or crossbow, and reaper kill it, will leaving the "higher" lvl alone, then a 4th person jump down check egg, if its low level just grab it and let wild rock kill him, use our own tamed rock to recover gear, and try again, (as when the player who got the egg get killed the "wild" shouldnt aggro other ppl")

well try this strat and see if somehow it work, i just hope that respawn in bed while in rock drake area works :(

Last time i checked all those kinda eggs hatch at lvl1, did they fix that since late last year ?

Last time i checked all those kinda eggs hatch at lvl1, did they fix that since late last year ?

He didn't say to spawn the egg, but the drake.

Not entirly sold on the "when the player who got the egg get killed the "wild" shouldnt aggro other ppl" part tbh, i think your going to get agro regardless.
