Can gtx 1050 4gb vram run ARK?

i got a laptop with gtx 1050 4gb vram, an intel core i7 7700 and 8 gb of memory(ram).
will the game run well?

I played ark for a couple days on my i5 4430 with a gtx660 2g.
It was just about playable.
Now upgraded to gtx1060 6g and it is much better.

You will probably need to lower you settings, but you should be able to.

i got a 1050ti cerberus and its not playable. same fps (15-25) on every graphic settings.

your graphics card is very good processor too but 8GB of RAM is a base for playing a correct Ark with 16GB you will not have a problem with the performance (full ultra)

His graphics card is entry level and not "very good" at all and he can hope for at best, medium settings with some high and some low... saying he can run on full ultra is a massively disingenuous comment.

the 1050 will struggle with the game even at 720p due to its low performance and low VRAM.

the 1050Ti is a little better and will manage low/medium at 1080p

the I7 7700 is fine for ARK but the 8gb are borderline and will add some loading lag.

the A10-7800 is boarderline for ARK and will cause heavy loading lags, long loading times and sometimes freezes.

No... you are giving an opinion. His pc is fine except for the 1050.... it takes 16g and at least a 1070 PC to run all high let alone ultra.

The 1050ti 4 gb Vram and 16 gb ram. Are what I would consider the minimum to play with enough graphical fidelity to see what's happening in game and actually play.

Any lower hardware and your just looking at blobs. See YouTube for comparison videos.

16gb ddr3
amd fx 8350 8 cores 4ghz

I play with a GTX 1050Ti 4GB without any issues. I optimized the settings with Nvidia Geforce Experience and it made the settings a mix from med to epic. I don't have FPS issues or crashes.
Rest of the system is Gen 4 I5 with 32gb 1333 RAM. I run without any parameters in 1080p

u got freaking 32gb ram obviously u dont get any issues
